Software Engineer at SCOUTASTIC (all genders)

As a Software Engineer at SCOUTASTIC, you'll be building a platform that already supports over 130 professional football clubs worldwide in their player recruitment – and we're currently expanding into other sports. We've shifted our development processes to modern, agent-driven AI engineering. Your code will have direct impact on real transfer decisions from day one.

We're looking for a passionate builder who leverages cutting-edge AI tools to ship highly available solutions at record speed. Your foundation: solid backend development, clean REST APIs and a confident command of modern DevOps workflows.

• Architect & Build: You make architectural decisions and develop features from rapid prototypes to scalable services – backend, API design, data modelling.
• Agentic Engineering: You orchestrate coding agents and leverage modern AI development tools (Claude Code etc.) to massively scale your output.
• Data & AI Integration: You work with football data from a wide range of sources, build pipelines and integrate AI models into our platform.
• Production & Deployment: You ship features safely to production – Docker, CI/CD, cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, GCP) and relentlessly drive process automation. You own quality through testing and monitor production systems.
• End-to-End Ownership: From idea to go-live, you take full responsibility and iterate fast.

• Engineering experience: You have already successfully shipped software to production.
• Tech stack: Proficient in Node.js and/or Python, experienced in designing REST APIs. Flutter is a plus.
• Builder mindset: You're a problem solver who gets hands-on and just makes things happen.
• AI tooling: You know how to leverage AI coding tools effectively, critically review their output and multiply your own productivity with them.
• DevOps: You're well-versed in Docker, CI/CD, cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, GCP) and always think automation first.
• A passion for sports – especially football – and data is not a requirement, but a clear bonus.
